The club meets at least four times per month, on a Sunday, commencing at 9am and Monday evenings commencing at 7.30 pm . The shooting calendar runs from February to November for grading, but shooting ceases in mid December.

Club members do travel to other ranges, such as West Wyalong, Dubbo, Springwood, Mossvale, Sutherland, and Malabar of competitions. Within the club, people are given a "grading" after a period of time to ensure they are competing against people of a similar skill level. These gradings are used when competing against other clubs.
People who are under 18 are referred to as "Juniors" and they complete against other Juniors when competitions are held.
Due to restrictions, rifles must be loaded with single rounds only (no magazines are to be used) and only standard velocity ammunition is permitted. If you have any doubts about this, consult a club Range Officer.
